Well, today was my birthday. It was great! I am so thankful to God that he has put me in this place with these people! I used my free time today to clean my room which I’d wanted to do for like a week and just hadn’t had the time yet. I was thinking of what I wanted to go do later to enjoy my day, thinking that I didn’t really have any plans. So, I’ve been here in Prüm, Germany for about a month now, and several people have asked me if I have “Heimweh”, homesickness. Many of them are as surprised as I am when I answer, “No, I really don’t. At least not yet.” And that’s the honest truth. I don’t feel sick for home. Don’t get me wrong, I love the U.S. I love my family. I love my friends. But I’m really glad that I’m not there. Sorry everyone. ;-)
